Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is open to fifth and sixth graders and is sponsored by the Chandler Public Library. In this club students read 12 books in teams of three. There are school-wide battles throughout the year during which students are quizzed on their knowledge of the books and points are accumulated. The team with the most points for the season represents CTA Humphrey at the district Battle of the Books at the Chandler Public Library in the spring. This is a great opportunity to get together with some friends and read some great books.  Our first meeting will be announced to fifth and sixth graders during the first few weeks of school each year.
